"This place is not a hotel it is a old motel. They have the outside cleaned and paint but the inside is terrible. The carpet is old, ripped, and very spotted. The wallpaper is falling off the walls. The room smelled of mold and mildew. I got over these complaints but on the last night at 3 or 4am the smoke alarm went off! Then it stopped and went off a hour later and then again an hour later. I would have called the office but the phone in the rooms don't work unless you pay a deposit. Since I didn't need the phone I didn't pay the deposit. Even still I wouldn't want to move rooms at 3am in my PJs. Anyhow I complained to the Middle Eastern lady in the office that morning and she said she'd have the smoke alarm looked at. I asked what she could do for me since I didn't get much sleep seeing as I went to bed at 11:30pm. She said well what do you want me to do I'll have it fixed. I said that helps the next person but not me, can you credit me one night since I hardly slept? She said no but I can have the manager call, but he'll say no also. I said alright have him call me or I'm complaining to AAA and the travel reservation center. She responed go ahead it doesn't matter! The manager never called me so I called and spoke with his son (its a family that owns it the father is the manager and the mother is the woman I complained to) the son was understanding but asked why we didn't call when it happened, which I explained, then he aksed why we didn't walk to the office? I explained I didn't know if you were open at 3am nor did I want to get dressed to walk out to find out. He said the manager or someone would call me and they would most likely give me the credit for one night. I still have not heard from them as of writting this letter. Next I will call AAA and then my credit card company will get involved. If you can assist in anyway please help. You can reach me at 714-240-2858. "Office door locked when arrived. When registuring could not understand desk clerk and she was rude. Office temp was at least 105 deg. No cont. breakfast no coffee by 7am. Furniture in room had burn holes in them. Beds seemed to be worn out."
